Spectrum has fixed the issues with our WiFi, internet, and phone connections. Thank you for your patience.

Due to a Spectrum fiber outage, many of our schools are currently experiencing disruption of service to phones, internet, email, and Wi-Fi. Spectrum does not have an estimated time of repair at this time. The phone lines in the main offices at schools are working, but please be patient as you call. If you cannot get through to the main office at your student’s school and need to relay a message, you can call the Central Administrative Office (CAO) at 335-1867. Thank you! -CGPS We apologize for any inconvenience the outages have caused. We will provide an update as Spectrum shares more information. Thank you for your time and continued support of Cape Girardeau Public Schools.

The October Board meeting was held Monday at the Central Administrative Office (CAO) located at 301 N. Clark. We were honored to have the opportunity to recognize our Terrific Tigers from each school. These students are exemplifying excellence and good character on a regular basis. Congratulations, Tigers! Keep shining! The Cape Central Academy Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) program was also featured during the meeting with Central Academy Zech Payne and JAG Coordinator Ursulla Wadley making comments. CA student Taylor Banks read her award-winning essay as she shared obstacles she has had to overcome throughout her life, and goals she hopes to achieve through the support of JAG. Her determination is inspiring! Taylor, we are so proud of you and can’t wait to see what’s ahead in your future!
